So, Jon Stewart did his job for a small victory against the dreaded liberal media and helped to get Crossfire, and that little punk Tucker booted off the air.
I came across this old edition of Crossfire from 1986 with Novak on the right, and Tom Braden on the left. The guests were dork-in-chief Washington Times writer John Loften pitted against Frank Zappa.
I couldn't have picked Zappa out of a lineup back then (or today, up 'till now), but after watching this I really wish I had bothered to learn more about his music and him as a man while he was still alive. I don't agree with everything he says here, but it is riveting. It's 20 minutes long but worth every second.
