Kerry received a huge boost in media coverage when he fired Jordan and his aides began to flee. However, his polls seem to have stabilized now, and he is receiving significant, issues-based coverage. Unless firing Jordan has resulted in a major fundraising hit, Kerry seems to have come out no worse than we was before.
Considering how close Gephardt, Kerry, Lieberman and Clark all are, the next national poll (which will wupe out all previous polls) could significantly reshuffle the ECC deck.
