We officially control both Houses!!!!! Since I started this thing, let me expand slightly. Having worked all day Election day for Ned Lamont, it was a bittersweet evening Tuesday evening. But as the results kept coming in and things elsewhere around the country kept getting better and better, my disappointment in Ned's race really faded. Almost entirely. We set out to challenge Joe Lieberman and that is exactly what we did. And I like to think because we challenged Joe and the war so strongly this summer, the Dem wave was able to wash over the country. It is a new day in America and the sun is even shining warmly here in Connecticut today. I feel hope again. And it is a damn nice feeling!
