RMD: Danny DeVito on 'The View'

Fri Dec 01, 2006 at 06:58:39 AM PDT

I saw a lot of clips from Danny DeVito on 'The View' yesterday, but I don't recall reading much about it here.

There was some commentary about Danny being somewhat 'in the bag' from a night of carousing with George Clooney. However, even with slightly slurred speech it was 'en Vino, Veritas', at least to me.

Danny spoke about being at the White House during the last 'stint' of the Clinton administration, but stated he had not been there during 'numbnuts' which was of course bleeped over the 'nuts' portion. To make his point even more clear, he stumbled over some words and generally did a great imitation of the Bushiter 'on a good day'.

[Update]: Now that there are poll results, look at the how the audiences were reached.

To make sure this is not content-free, I am linking to a nearly content-free 'TMZ' article about the Danny DeVito appearance as I invite your comments.

Do articles like the one in TMZ actually tell you the news? Or do they attempt to tell you about what to think about some event that you do not 'know what happened' after reading their sanitized version of it? Is 'truthiness' taking over the Right Wing Controlled Media?

Do we need the Right Wing Controlled Media to understand the world? Or do we need to ignore the RWCM view of the world to know what is really going on?

Oh, and what do you think of Danny DeVito's free speech? Is there just too much free speech so that we need Newt Gingrinch to regulate it for us?

Finally, are Riecht Wing thugs like 'numbnuts' and the Gingrinch getting the scorn they deserve? And should the 'Left Wing' appologize when the Reicht Wingers demand it?

I don't think DeVito should apologize for a thing.
