Forgive me if this has been diaried (I'm on a Morning-in-America-era dial-up modem), but Senator Evan Bayh of Indiana has announced that he WILL NOT run for President in 2008.

According to the ever-reliable Faux News, Bayh has decided that he is not willing to take on the "front runner" (whatever that means).
I was never a Bayh supporter, putting him in the same class as not-progressive-enough HRC. But I wish him well, and I have immense respect for his decision. The folks of Indiana are lucky to have him, and he will no doubt continue to serve them well.
