GOP Donor Hurls Rocks At GOP Headquaters?

Raw Story has a link to a story run on the Ohio NBC affiliate NBC4i.com.  The
article describes how an Ohio man was arrested for throwing rocks at the local GOP headquarters:

Police arrested 58-year-old Kenneth Dwayne Thomas in connection with the incident.

He is currently being held at the Franklin County jail and police said he will face criminal damaging charges, Tate reported.

According to investigators, Thomas also made threats toward President George W. Bush and Vice-President Dick Cheney.

Officials said he will be investigated by the Secret Service because of those comments, Tate reported.

"I know there are people out there who don’t like Republicans," McClelland said. "But to say that we’re a cancer and should be exterminated, according to what he said to police, that’s a little over the top."

Yes, seems very over the top, no?

Here's another local story to give an idea of how this story is being played:

"It's no coincidence this stuff happens every two years right before Election Day," Bennet said then. "Democrats love to complain about negative ads and gutter politics, but they turn a blind eye while their own activists engage in illegal and, at times, violent campaign tactics."

Well, what also seems strange is that a Thomas, Ken D. of Dublin OH, has donated over $3000 to Republican PACs, candidates and committees from 2003 to 2005.  This can be verified at Open Secrets. Specifically, the link  is here.

Dublin, OH is 15 miles from the Headquarters according to google maps.

Perhaps this is just a coincidence? Are there any Kossaks from Columbus who could find out if this is the same guy?
