Did you hear me on CSPAN?

I've never called before, I didn't realize you get cut off as soon as you ask your question (I would have been more detailed had I known).  They had a Republican and a Democratic college activists on.  I asked the Republican - who had earlier described himself as a Christian conservative and felt it necessary to point out there was a Muslim group of College Republicans at the CPAC conference he's in town for - how he felt about Ann Coulter's raghead remarks at her speech last night.

He answered that while he agrees with Coulter's work, he thought the remark was 'unfocused' (?) and some other things to indicate tepid distance from the raghead word.  My favorite part was that after he finished answering, the host asked if he'd gotten her autograph and he smiled and said yes.

Then the conversation turned to those damn cartoons.  I wish I had focused my question more on hate speech and how that fits in the 'Christian Conservative' philosophy and how can one possibly agree with Ann Coulter whose work is nothing BUT hate speech?  Oh well, if nothing else I hope I exposed some viewers to that nasty racist aspect of Coulter's work.
