Okay, I'm just kidding. To more dramatic matters...
Everybody gets all riled up about Kos and Kid O, because Kos disrespects the very folks who helped catapult him to the top (anti-war folks when the war in Iraq approached and started), and because Kid O seems to validate the 'crazy' thesis with his stream-of-consciousness ravings about Kos being prejudiced and a primadonna.
In any case, conflict brings drama, and both conflict and drama call people to take sides. Don't follow the call. Be a peacemaker, within yourself. Listen to both sides, acknowledge the imperfection and simmering personality issues of both individuals, note that they're little different than the rest of us, or ourselves, and then move on.
Everything will be okay, and Kos will continue to be a not only a leader but a facilitator and provider, and Kid O will continue to be a fine commentator and a man we should respect.
"We all have our troubles, trouble will find us one way or another, people have troubles, since the Pope was an altar boy (or, next verse, since the Dead Sea was only critical)." - Lucky Dube
I hate to break the rules, so more reggae lyrics...
"Lord, I'm your weary child,
happiness, come back,
a while,
'cause if you don't come
got to go looking
for happiness,
if you don't come
got to go looking (yea)
for happiness." - Bob Marley
A little rap...
"so take my steps
and climb my ladder and climb,
climb, climb,
clock time
and watch me enter
the groove
with the beat's that's playin'
you hear me now
you know what I'm sayin'
you, you, and you
your whole organization
and crew,
just watch,
as I enter your mind,
decorate
and paint my sign,
I'm hazardous,
so scatter this around,
I'm Kool Keith
knocking MC's down..." - Ultramagnetic MC's
