Paul Hackett hosted a show on WLW today 2-27-06
Mon Feb 27, 2006 at 01:46:31 PM PDT
The show started out with a recorded teaser about "swiftboated by Democrats". He spent a bunch of time on guns, then a crime call and a few other issues.
An odd caller mentioned robberies and values and Paul responded: How about these values? Peace, prosperity? Privacy? Freedom of and freedom from religion? Freedom from fear, freedom from want...
15 minutes from the end of the show, Paul delivered on his teaser with this predictable remark:
"Sherrod Brown spread a lie about my service in Iraq". Then he mentioned a Hamilton County Chairman Tim Burke "called me up and told me". He is still plying the same discontent that he started with a whole week after he resigned. He does not have to campaign anymore, but Paul loves the attention.
I thought he was pretty boring and uninspiring through much of the show. Won't learn much about the issues from Paul. Hard to figure out what he is doing for his IAVA PAC. It is obvious that he is going to milk his one-act show for everything it is worth and damn the Democrats.
