(Note: a rather similar diary was posted last nite, but with--I found too late--non-functional link AND download material both. Now corrected to be functional (I think). Also, this "massive update" features foto of Kos-as Weasley, thx to BlogDog !!!
Finally: kross-posted, with slight alterations, at MyLeftWing.com.)
There's a secret the DKos kommunity must know now, on why DKos 3.0 is so Vitamin-C orange!
I consulted "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" last night, and I noted in chp. 3, "The Burrow",
"Harry stepped in....It was like walking into a furnace. Nearly everything in Ron's room seemed to be a violent shade of orange: the bedspread, the walls, even the ceiling."
That's right, folks: Kos has really been RON WEASLEY FROM THE WORLD OF HARRY POTTER ALL ALONG!!!
Explains a frickin lot, doesn't it?
In other news, I have finished writing my new e-book(let), "Harry Potter: The Hobbit for Dummies?", at
http://d-bo.com/hobbitfordummies.html . Only $1.99, do take a look. (Now that the link on that page seems to work...)
(And do tell me if the download doesn't work etc., I just put up the now-functional version, though the test download seems to work)
"Hobbit for Dummies?" offers some new views on Potter, especially after the recent condemnation of the books by Pope Benedict XVI. (I don't totally agree with him, as you'll see)
Am gonna donate at least a full seventh of net profit from it (if any) to the British Red Cross disaster fund or any similar funds which benefit the victims of the 7/7 London terrorist attack. So please support a good cause!
My little book asks fun stuff like "How is Azkaban like Abu Ghraib?", "What does Harry Potter have in common with Harry Frankfurt?", and "Who is the 'Hairy Potter'??" Whoooo.
I say some nice stuff about Rowling too, though.
(I may actually have a longer book, about Tolkien and Star Wars, coming out soon too---and it mentions some DKos folks! Stay tuned!!)
Have a nice evening, and hope to hear! I do appreciate any patronage, or matronage, of my work!! (In the fine tradition of other DKos'ers mentioning their work here...)
May the Pott be with you!!
