Markos sighting in Rolling Meadows

It's true!  Markos is an actual person, not some mystery person pulling all the strings behind the curtain.  His whirlwind tour in promoting "Crashing the Gate" took him close to the area in which he originally grew up.  More info and pictures below the fold.

The Palatine Township Democrats, Wheeling Township Democrats, Democracy Club of Elk Grove Township, & Democracy For America - Rolling Meadows chapter started this election year out by hosting a group meeting in order to have a larger audience.  In this second group meeting, nearly 100 people were in attendance to not only hear about updates on local races, but also to be treated with a presentation by none other than Markos himself!

I had the pleasure (since I was lucky enough to contact the book's publisher first) to present Markos to our audience after a brief synopsis of his and Jerome Armstrong's excellent book, "Crashing the Gate."

Markos is an excellent speaker and we kept him talking and signing for almost two hours.

If you haven't already done so, get yourself a copy of this book.  It's a great read!

After a few more books to sign, we finally "let" him go (before we were thrown out, that is).
