The cons are telling everyone that what Rove said was just 'stating the facts'and that he wasn't talking about every democrat. If they are correct, then the GOP is still wrong:
Double Standard: Rove x Durbin remarks
How come then when Durbin makes some remarks about specific events and how some 'soldiers' were treating our prisoners, somehow from that statement we're supposed to think Durbin meant every person in the armed forces is a Nazi ?
Demonizing of a reasonable answer
According to Rove: "liberals ..wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers,". Well, what's wrong with preparing indictements ? At least it would get the same net result Bush's war got us - NO OSAMA - at a fraction of the cost in lives and dollars.
Which brings us to the last point:
Jumping into conclusions: Plans For Iraq Attack Began On 9/11 (1)
And as we all know, Iraq had ZIPPO to do with 9/11. Imagine if Clinton acted like this after Oklahoma city ? War mongering without facts is the height of irresponsibility. So the knee jerk response from conservatives was misguided, unproductive and unworthy of a good commander in chief, As even Bush has said: "[someone] who jumps to conclusions without knowing the facts is not a person you want as your commander in chief"
