Now, granted Michael Jackson is a weird guy with some serious socialization issues, but, I always felt he was not in any way a violent or hurtful type of a person.
It seems there has been a long media campaign against Jackson that first began at the height of his popularity (which was not only prolific, but unprecedented at one point).
So, was Jackson a political target?
Now, while Jackson's music does not have political force of a John Lennon or a Bob Marley or of a early-Bob-Dylan, Jackson was, in fact, a major, powerful, international phenomenon who did make music such as "Man In The Mirror" that spoke to the issues of personal liberation and social change through personal revolution.
Did this (Jackson potential cultural impact) scare the right-wing?
Didn't quite fit in with the right-wing designs for the militarization of outer space and construction of U.S. military bases all over the world (by means of bloodshed) and prepping the public for and advancing the propaganda of War, perhaps?
Just look at how the MSM has been openly rooting for a guilty verdict in the Jackson case and trying to prep the public for the expectation that he was guilty of essentially child rape (despite no scientific/medical/physical evidence).
And, now the MSM seems to be a little bummed out, a little sad, a little lost, and dumbfounded at the non-guilty conclusion of the case.
Now, the media spin seems to have shifted and is now suggesting that Jackson was a child molester but just that they just couldn't prove it, and, wondering whether his career is all washed up.
I realize that Jackson brought a lot of this on himself with his bizarre lifestyle and plastic surgeries.
But, it is interesting to watch the MSM.
Funny how they overtly root for and promote the conviction of left wing people like Jackson and Martha Stewart -- yet -- where is the media's interest in seeing justice served in the case of Ken Lay?
How about accountibility for George W. Bush's past personal life transgressions? (or his present ones)? Dick Cheney and Halliburton? Dick Cheney and phony U.S. Intelligence?
Just wondering ......
