The Great O'Lielly strikes back! Anger gives him focus. In an interview with Clear Channel in San Francisco, O'Lielly attempts to explain away his comments, but ends up sounding like the douschebag we all know and love.
Special thanks to dday for providing the link
to the mp3 file in another diary:
So you don't have to listen, here is the highlights of his 7 minute interview: (if any of you do listen, take note of how the Clear Channel lackeys sound in awe of the great O'Lielly's presence [dark side is strong in him] and in end, have to chisel the crap off their noses from kissing his butt so much)
Do you stand by what you said? Of course I do, we are in the middle of World War III and San Francisco votes against military recruiters in school, it's insane.
Are we in WWIII or WWIV? O'Lielly knows because Karl told him so
I'm from Long Island and there are many people who are dead from 9/11 and you are telling me you are not going to allow military recruiting out there? box
Obligatory right wing 9/11 mention in a vain attempt to bring people back to the good o'l days; ya know, when Bush had a 80% approval rating.
I think there are a lot of good people in San Fransico but you have been hijacked by the radical left; the press is radical left; you have big problems in the city; but I love the city and it is a great city but if you are going to work against the United States of American in the war on terror then you have no right to have federal funding
Standard Right Wing operating procedure - you are either with us, or we cut off your funding and build fancy military hardware with it.
The Board of Supervisors for the district apparentlly equated Bill O' Lielly with Rush Limbaugh, and that just set off a firestorm:
"Another cheap shot by that guy; he is a classy guy. Taking personal cheap shots. Ya know, this is the hallmark of the radical left - cheap shot everybody - convince your Kool-Aid drinking crowd to follow you. But San Francisco is a beautiful city; it is not disgraceful city; you can not even walk aroudn the city w/o seeing people doing appalling things in the streets"
I thought we were the moonbats not the Kool-Aid drinkers? Can someone keep me up to date on left-wing slurs please?
"What I said was not controversial, what I said needed to be said. This city has no clue what hte world is, none. If you had been hit on 9/11 as New York was, you would not vote against military recruiting. The left wing selfish land of ozz... is an absolute intellectual discrace."
2nd obligatory 9/11 reference
"I do not think these people like this country, they feel that we are hte problem, we are the evil doers, that al queda is created because of us. That is the hallmark of the radical left - it is America's fault... the enlightened citizens of San Francisco are not going to be part of it. Number 1, that is a fascist act."
O'Lielly's world: majority of citizens participating in a democratic election who vote to recommend that military recruiters not be allowed into school = fascism
O'Lielly telling you what to do, what to think, how to act, and what to wear (sweet Factor gear for Christmas, birthdays, Christmas, Easter, Christmas, and other holidays the ACLU is trying to take over)
Well, there you have it folks. In the great words of Sean Connery in the Rock, "I need a shower, shave, and the feel of a nice suit" after listening to that.
