Daily Kos

Uh Oh... I just put 2 + 2 together...

Wed Jul 26, 2006 at 10:40:53 PM PDT

I was walking along today and was remembering the threads I've read here about the Middle East and the scourging of southern Lebanon.
I read Daily Kos on a very [too?] regular basis...

Suddenly I stopped in my tracks struck by three diary topics diaries in the last few days.

First-
There was a diary [or several] that complainied about the sale of more areial precision guided munitions to the Israelis and was wondering if it was legal or not. There was some question about international law & arms dealing with countries in conflict. The munitions included "Bunker Buster" bombs.
[I'm no good with tracking down the article and linking as I read but don't go back to re read later. Any help in comments is appreciated.]

Then there was mention on several other diaries that since Iran is the blatant patron of Hezbollah, it was setting itself up as a legitimate target for the Israelis.

Oh and the clincher was the "lightning visit" paid to Israel and Lebanon by Condi... Making a lot of noise but accomplishing nothing of obvious note.

2 plus 2 suddenly factored by the cosine of American Imperial Diplomacy just shouted at me that :

We're waiting for the Israelis to use our bunker busters on Iranian targets and Condi has given them their marching orders and target list! Anyone else have this eerie feeling too?? I wonder if we cut them a deal on the price of the bombs?

Tinfoil hat material or is there some basis of reality in there?

Sorry - Have to post and run. I gotta work tomorrow [which is light years ahead of looking for work tomorrow]. I just wanted to skip this rock out there on the pond to see if the ripples revealed anything.
