I guess my greatest disappointment for this entire election period is not Kerry's loss ... but his lack of conviction and fortitude to do what he promised us he would do. I guess the Repugs were right in that regard. I, as a result rescind my support for Kerry for any future runsfor the White House. Kerry seemsto be more worried what people may think of hisposition than ... the people who put their lives on hold to travel state to state to canvass for him. No to mention the millions of $$ in support.
Whats with this distancing him self from this whole OH failure. He even took the steps to physically stay away from congress write a letter saying he would not take part in challenging the OH vote... He could have at least talked about it ...
I've said my piece Kerry need not apply in 2008 ...

Democrats challenge Ohio vote, push back official certification
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Bush officially won a second term in the White House after electoral votes from all 50 states were counted Thursday during a joint session of Congress.
The normally perfunctory ceremony of counting and certifying Electoral College votes was delayed for about four hours as Democrats unsuccessfully challenged Ohio's votes for Bush.
Bush received 286 electoral votes, 16 more than the 270 he needed to win re-election. Sen. John Kerry, a Massachusetts Democrat, received 251 votes. One Democratic elector cast a vote not for Kerry but for former Sen. John Edwards, his vice presidential running mate.
Update
Some people are missing the point. It's not about Kerry losing. I think he ran a great campaigne. It's about him keeping his word. No We don't expect him to go on a rant and start beheading Repugs.
However in light of the lack of political clout of the Dem Party in Congress. Kerry by now should know how to use the media given the rare more like zero chances Dems have to set the agenda.... He can still stand up for the people and still look like a statesman. The two principles are not exclusive of eachother. I hear Kerry plans to put up a bill in some months from now, that bill will be worth nothing more than the paper it was written on ... because of the missed opportunity of Kerry to speakout on these important issues now.
