An article published yesterday (link and snip below) states that Ahmed Chalabi is planning on visiting wounded U.S. soldiers during his trip here this week and next in the U.S.
He's already visited Condy Rice, gave a speech at the American Enterprise Institute, and is planning on visiting Cheney and other neocons around the capitol.
Who authorized this neocon darling-flim-flam man to visit OUR wounded troops, a man who told these troops they would be greeted with flowers, candy, hugs, and kisses, by the Iraqi people?
(more below the fold)
Chalabi, in conjunction with the neocons in the White House, the Pentagon, the N.Y. Times (and other U.S. media outlets), and the radical right think-tanks, conspired to lead this nation into a war based on lies, mis-information, and outright fraud.
Why is he being allowed to pose with our wounded troops for another phony-ass photo-op, designed as a trasparent neocon attempt to rehabilitate his irreparable reputation, by allowing him to show empathy to those he has harmed?
Chalabi is a foreign agent, one who has betrayed the interests of this country in a way no other has in our history. He should be arrested and tried for his crimes, not feted and fawned over like some kind of "special friend"
I know that if I was one of the wounded soldiers he was planning to visit, I would make plans for a "special welcome", one designed to "reward" Mr. Chalabi for his part in the conspiracy to defraud this nation, a conspiracy that thus far has led to over 15,000 wounded soldiers, 2059 dead, and possibly hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqi civilians. If I was that soldier, I would make sure Chalabi got the welcome he deserves.
Fact is, Chalabi SHOULD NOT be allowed to visit our wounded soldiers, in his sick attempt to use their injuries, some unbelievably horrific, as fodder for his propaganda operation. We need to contact our congressional representatives to protest his visit, and demand he be barred from visiting our soldiers.
