My ex-wife somehow landed on an RNC mailing list (not sure how, since she--like me--usually gets stuff from Teddy Kennedy, the Sierra Club, etc.). This is a pretty interesting piece of propaganda. The front has a big picture of Dubya (mwahahaha...the fools), and the usual pablum:
"Winning the War on Terror; Securing our Borders; Growing our Economy; Restraining Government Spending". The back advertises that there is a pre-addressed Missouri Voter Registration Application (can they do this? I guess they can) and in a little sidebar, they go negative on us. I'll quote verbatim below the fold, as I think many will find this interesting:
The Democrat (sic) Plan
Retreat and Defeat...
"We killed the Patriot Act! boasted Minority Leader Harry Reid, Nevada Democrat, to cheers from a crowd at a political rally after the vote."
The Washington Times [snicker], 12/17/05
"The idea that the United States is going to win the war in Iraq is just plain wrong."
DNC Chair Howard Dean:
The Associated Press, 12/5/05
[next to this is a photo of Dean, where he looks like a ranting Adolf Hitler--I could almost swear they Photoshopped on a little hint of that mini-moustache]
Playing Politics...
"At the right time, we will have a position."
DCCC Chair Rahm Emanuel (D-IL):
The Washington Post, 11/18/05
If this is the best they can come up with (I haven't opened the inside, because I technically probably shouldn't open her mail)...I'm not too worried. What do you guys think?
