Does anyone else love the new satellite photos feature on Google Maps? I think it's so neat hunting around the world on overhead maps for sites like the pyramids and the great wall of china.
So, imagine my surprise when I discovered that google had pixeled-out the U.S. capitol building.
Notice that the White House is not pixeled-out. Nor is the famously secretive Area 51 or the famously secretive National Security Agency headquarters.
Let's thank google maps for keeping congress safe from terrorism! Surely no one will ever find the capitol dome now!
