First, Edwards has to hope that Dean can pull an upset in either Washigton or Michigan. Anything so that Kerry loses another state and doesn't look inevitable. Although I don't see how Dean can win the nomination, he may be the only one who can stop Kerry from winning it.
Second, assuming Dean doesn't pull the upset, does he fade into the history books as the 2004 re-incarnation of Jerry Brown? Because if he loses out through Wisconsin and insists on going forward, that's what he'll look like.
