The Field Poll, which is
never wrong, gives Kerry
a blowout (PDF) over Edwards in California.
Kerry 60
Edwards 19
The Field Poll is assuming 6 percent turnout amongst independents, who can vote in the California primary. Amongst registered Democrats, Kerry leads 62-19, while Independents give Kerry a 43-18.
Surprisingly, Edwards gets his best numbers in the Bay Area, though they are nothing to celebrate (59-22). Southern California, outside LA, LOVES Kerry (67-15).
Versus Bush, the Democrats romp. (January results in parenthesis)
Kerry 53 (41)
Bush 41 (48)
Edwards 51 (36)
Bush 42 (48)
Arnold has promised to deliver California to Bush in November, which was funny. This state is solid Blue.
