Republican Scandals -- Foley Adds to the List

The list of creepy, nefarious and corrupt behavior by Republicans continues to grow. Let's work together to create a comprehensive list of the failures of the Republican leadership.  

Please feel free to add to the growing list of unbelievable behavior by those that the Republicans have chosen to lead us.  I know I have missed people and certain actions and behaviors by those listed below.  

President Bush - unpopular and misguided war, gutted the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, oh heck you all know all the rest.

Dick Cheney - Bush's henchman - this list is simply too long to go through.  Oh, and evidently really bad hunter.

Karl Rove - leaker, schemer, friend of Abernoff, Bush puppermaster

Donald Rumsfeld - one of the most frightening men on the planet. Uses his position to continue to push the failed policies in Iraq.  Responsible for 2700 American lives, countless disabled veterans and countless lives of Iraqis.  

Scooter Libby - leaker, schemer, friend of Rove, outer of CIA agents.  I almost forgot about this one.  All the other scandals make Libby's lies of omission seem almost mild.

Condi Rice - one of the most frightening women on the planet.  Consistently reconstitutes the facts to cover here tracks.  See Liar, Liar, Condi's Pants are on Fire diary 9/26/2006 for examples.

Senator George Allen - racist who uses offensive language, kept a Confederate flag and a noose around, tried to pretend he didn't know any of this was offensive.  (I'm from the south and I knew by the age of 8 that using the "n" word was offensive and a big, big no no.  I knew by 13 that people who flew the Confederate flag outside their houses were probably not people I wanted to hang out with.  So the "I was young" excuse, sorry just doesn't hold any water Senator.)

Rep. Mark Foley - possible pedophile.  At best a big creep, at worst possible a pedophile.

Rep. Dennis Hastert - knew about Foley - did nothing about it, supporter of Bush's failed policies.  Mr. Hastert it is people like you who allow pedophiles free rein.  When you know someone poses a threat to children, and 16 year-old pages are still considered children, and YOU DON'T REPORT IT, you give a pedophile power.  Where are your values Congressman?  If that weren't enough you can follow his ties to Abernoff here http://thinkprogress.org/...
