CONCERNED ABOUT OUR PRESIDENT'S MENTAL HEALTH?
I am sure that I am not the only person that is very worried that George W. Bush is about to suffer a nervous breakdown. He is clearly unhinged by the disaster in Iraq, a disaster he inwardly accepts responsibilty for. He can't admit this though, because he believes that admitting mistakes is a sign of weakness and would lead to an even greater disaster in Iraq. That's why he has such vicious attacks whenever John Kerry points out how badly things are going over there. I strongly feel (and I am sure that other on this site would agree) that George W. Bush is in many ways a sympathetic character. I think it would behoove all of those in the national news media such as CNN, FOX News, CBS, and the rest, to cut the guy some slack for a change!
Instead of asking him what to do about the latest catastrophe in Iraq (today), how about instead you all start asking him if he's considered taking (more?) anti-depressents!? Or maybe (just maybe) he should get back in the habit of taking long vacations! How about that, huh?
I sure know that he seemed a lot more relaxed after a month of golf and fence building in Crawford! And let's be honest here: do we really need him under foot all the time? Dick Cheney has been a fine co-president (not to besmirch George's valiant attempts). Let's allow George to get back to his ranch and lay off the poor son-of-a-bitch, OK?
