Howard Dean is in a tight spot and needs to differentiate himself from the other candidates again. Why not tackle the one issue that will really stir up the undecided voters: the outsourcing of so many of our best jobs to places like Belarus and India?
Yes, I know he is for fairer trade and all, but that's pretty general. How about something specific? Stand up against big companies who care so little about our best talent that they will outsource our jobs overseas? Why not propose some innovative laws or solutions? What if, for example, for every job outsourced by a company that does business in America, that business had to pay the payroll taxes equivalent to the working wages of hiring someone for this job in America?
The time is short. I think this is a winning issue. Do you agree? If so what would you suggest in the way of refining this suggestion?
