Um this weird, something is going on in New York concerning gas. Howard stern just abruptly ended his live show because of some foul gas smelling odor, and I dont think it was his own flatulence. What is going on in NYC?
Were there any terror alerts? Where is his studio located?
They said the police were outside the building? I dont think this has ever happened?

I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO, LISTEN TO THE MAYOR AND RADIO FOR FURTHER INFORMATION, hell, even fox news cant go wrong!

Hundreds of calls poured into city emergency officials. Apparently the calls are coming from Chelsea, Battery Park west, Madison Square Park, and there are also reports of the gas smell outside of our studio on 66th and Columbus.

The smell was also reported in Downtown Jersey City.

Con Edison officials said were investing the source of the leak.

No injuries were immediately reported as a result of the leak. The office of emergency management was investigating.

Transportation Effected:

The NYC Transit Authority is telling us the F station at W. 23rd St and 6th Ave has been evacuated as a precaution. This station is shared with the PATH line  and as we're reported, PATH train service has been temporarily suspended between 33rd Street and Journal Square and 33rd Street and Hoboken due to emergency activity.
