Super Secret Confidential Programming Note

I've been meaning to pipe up with this for a while, and now seems as good a time as any. You may notice that one post down from this one is one which very subtly bashes Hillary Clinton. Sortof. You will notice that three posts down from this one is a post that explicitly praises Clinton.

This is called "being a political website". Praising or bashing individual actions by individual candidates is called "having political opinions."

The incongruities from day to day or between posts may be off-putting to some. This site may, in any given post, praise or bash Obama, Edwards, Dodd, Richardson, or AndTheRest. This is known as "politics", and any given post or series of posts about a given candidate is not a sign (1) that this site is hopelessly biased against So and So, (2) that this site has been bought off by Such and Such, or (3) that rampaging bands of Space Monkeys have infiltrated the site and are using mindrays to secretly steel opinions against your candidate. Given that at last check 100% of all site editors whose pseudonyms begin with 'H' are entirely undecided as to who they will support, and representation from the other letters is iffy as well, organization of these opinions into a sitewide conspiracy against your candidate would be very difficult absent the aforementioned extraterrestrial primates.

Every candidate in the Democratic field will make good and bad decisions in the coming months. Several thousand people on this site will express, during every single week, opinions about those decisions.

So if you want to have conspiracy theories about which candidate all the editors and/or users of this site secretly are or aren't collectively in the bag for, please coordinate your opinion with the other 140,000 users here so that you're not contradicting each other. Because having contradictory opinions about that would make you look silly, and make us suspect the Space Monkeys had gotten to you.

On a separate note, please be aware that this site never, ever uses satire or snark to make points. That would be irresponsible. You should take everything you read here very, very seriously, or monsters will eat you.
