I'm headed to Iowa tomorrow to spend the week leading up to the caucuses (including caucus day) volunteering for Howard Dean. I'm bringing a laptop, so I'll try to get online at least daily to put a little on-the-ground perspective in my diaries.
Hopefully I can provide some sort of insights on the campaign situation - who's on the up and who's on the down, that sort of thing. At any rate, I'll at least have whatever's in the random campaign doggerel and political scuttlebutt coursing through the Dean camps.
Our group of about 25 is going by rail, and rallying at the Emeryville Amtrak station around 8:30 a.m. for the benefit of local news media. If any kossians show up, give me a shout... I'll have a BMW ballcap on.
BTW, those Perfect Storm beanies look nifty :)
