Former Clinton administration officials Anthony Lake (National Security Advisor, Richard Danzig (Navy Secretary) and Susan Rice (Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs know the Clintons, their grasp of foreign affairs and their policies.
And they support Obama....(continued)
As Lake said in New Hampshire:
"I cannot understand why he is attacked for a lack of experience," Lake told an audience of 150 before Obama arrived. Obama is older than Bill Clinton was when inaugurated, Lake said, and probably has more foreign policy experience than Presidents Carter, Reagan, Clinton and George W. Bush had when they took office.
"His life experiences of living abroad when he was young, traveling by bus in Kenya," Lake said, "have given him a real grasp of the troubles around the world."
His Columbia degree in international relations probably didn't hurt, either.
Obama sees things from other nations' perspective; this enables him to make the best rational choices about what is truly possible. Bill Clinton had some of the same talent, to a lesser degree, but it seems to be much lacking in Hillary, judging first of all by her disastrous voting record on foreign policy and by her "I've had myriad protocol meetings with the elites and therefore am better qualified" statements.
