Political Trees and Bushes

Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words or something like that.
When I need to think something out I always turn to nature. The fresh air and fauna always clears my mind and opens it for good old fashion thinking. I think most of us would agree that nature is good for the soul and refreshes our lives when we need a break from every day routines, problems and stress.
I think Trees are a good symbolic way to look at politicians. Whether you agree on my tree choices is up to you. I am open to better examples, but hope you enjoy or can appreciate this different view.
Come out on a limb..
Tree politics

Edwards-Like a Birch tree- stands out in the forest, Catches one's eye automatically but can topple when leaned on by other trees or in a wind storm. Birch trees don't have the strength to build with.

Obama- Like a Sequoia- Grand, rare, stands above the rest-Most people go through their whole life and never see them unless they are in one's neighborhood. They are awesome to see but one cannot climb it easily and it takes several people to get arms around it.

Dodd & Biden and Democrats are like Blue Spruce Pine trees- most look and act the same, are sturdy, smell good and most people want one in their yard cause they look so good. Unique in some ways but side by side hard to tell apart.

Kucinich- Red wood- doesn’t budge- stays the course, a wonder to see, such high ideal heights that one seldom can see the top from the bottom. Magnificence for their stance unfortunately unpractical in one's yard. They are protected because they inspire us.

Guilani/Romney-xmas tree- frivoulous-fun-shiny-not serious can’t wait to put in storage when season is over.

Bush-like a scrub pine-stunted growth-weird shaped view. Seem to only thrive in unwanted, wasteland areas with a skewed view from the top.

repugs/neocons- tumble weeds- low, loose roots- only found in remote areas where few want to live, scurrious, rolls over anything in its way, dry, brittle, no good roots-serve no good purpose, hard to stop and catch unless backed in a corner or up against a fence or wall.

Clintons- Palm trees- flexible, bend gently yet can withstand hurricane force winds-durable, know how to hold their ground, graceful, warm climate, heated areas is where they thrive the best.
What kind of tree are you?
