Obama launches new '08 website, campaign logo

See that? That's the official Obama '08 logo. It's definitely different... if I was charitable I'd say it reminded me of something Apple would come up with, and if I was snarky I'd say it reminded me of a messianic cult.

Here's the website. Now, this reminds me of Apple. It's almost impossibly tech-y - links to flickr, facebook, a MySpace-like feature that looks like one of the more sophisticated features of its kind, lots and lots of embedded videos. Oh, and a very intensive issues section, vastly more so than Edwards' (which barely exists) and Hillary's (which doesn't exist). Very uncluttered, although the text errors (all the @ symbols) indicate they're working out the kinks.
