OK,
Kos' front page story about the Arizona poll raises again the question of Richardson as the man who can sweep the southwest into the Dem column.
New Mexico Richardson wins. Nevada is on the cusp. The polls in Arizona shows Kerry already in the lead. Does Ricardson cement the deal for these three states and would you be comfortable betting the farm on these electoral votes getting Kerry over the top?
Contrary to what some here say about Richardson helping in Florida I doubt it. I have known many cubans and they all seem to have a holier-than-thou attitude toward every other hispanic. Their politics are very right. So Richardson is no help in Florida.
We write off Florida for Arizona, NM, and Nevada. I also assume Kerry will carry NH and maintain the other blue states (I am sweating bullets over Iowa, please someone from Iowa give me ancedotal information on why I shouldn't worry).
You pick Florida its all the eggs in that basket. All the eggs. Though if you win Florida it makes up for a lot of sins. You can lose PA and if you hold the rest of the blue and take NH, with Florida you can win.
So, there are grumblings that Graham is dull and keeps a kooky diary. For the first time on this board I saw some negatives on Richardson. He chomps cigars and might be impolitic. Will blacks really be turned off by Richardson on the ticket?
Who is better for Kerry?
My heart says Richardson, by head says Graham.
