The kids came home from school here Friday with a notice that there would be no school Monday or Tuesday. Then I saw on the local news that there were several more counties across North Georgia that had also cancelled school for at least 2 days. They are using snow days early, they say to save gas by not having busses running. My guess is that they are either running low on gas to keep them running, or the price of gas is about to break the bank on these financially strapped school districts, and they're just trying to put a good spin on the situation. It doesn't help that gas dropped .30 a gallon from yesterday until today.
