Democratic Challenger Ned Lamont's Senate campaign has garnered donations from 4,337 individual donors on its first three months, with net donations of $712,611 for the quarter ending March 31.
In all Lamont received 4,853 contributions from 4,337 individual donors, with an average amount of $78.65. The campaign has more than 7,000 volunteers and donors signed up.

In total, the campaign took in $712,611 - $344,111 in donations and $371,500 from Lamont himself. The campaign had $375,916 on hand as of the March 31 deadline Federal Election Commission filing deadline, and will file a full report April 15.

Jack Carter, the Democratic candidate for United States Senator from Nevada, is pointing to the amount of money he has raised -- nearly $620,000 -- as proof that his campaign is building momentum.
In documents filed today with the Federal Elections Commission, the Carter For Senate Committee reports that it raised $378,061.03 during the first quarter of 2006. That brings the total raised so far to $619,705.67.
