bush's news conference - bring a barf bag and watch

the conf just ended so go watch the cspan link - some amazing stuff related to this...

for example, i just discovered if i bend over and back up, my derriere is EXACTLY the right height to dust the screen while bush blathers, therefore enabling me to multitask while listening.

secondly, after attaining a highly polished screen, i was able to see clearly the expression as the shrub blew air from his cheeks (not THOSE cheeks, but he does that on a regular basis cuz he thinks its funny, i've heard) - then chew his lips and grind his jaw after the delivery.

there was a smattering of applause and relief as his chosen friendlies decided to cut him some slack - something he has steadfastly refused to do for the troops!

bush actually kept a straight face while stating he listened to the generals.  he also managed not to guffaw at the hysterical joke he made that he actually LISTENED to the "other side" of the political argument!

MAN! would i love ears like that!  you know, the ones that only hear what you want to hear?

and there were more funnies - like the new strategy he described as having taken by appointing general portrayus (as a doofus).

my heart can't TAKE any more! i am going to go laugh myself silly now and maybe buy a big screen in time for the next conference so i can incorporate a bit of exercise with my housework!
