Conservative ruling party candidate Felipe Calderon has a 5 point lead in Mexico's presidential race, Zogby International polling firm said on Friday.
The poll, carried out with the University of Miami School of Communication, showed Calderon with 38 percent support before the July 2 election, and his leftist rival Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador trailed with 33 percent.

Felipe Calderón is the candidate of the National Action Party (right) in the upcoming 2006 presidential election. He is also a former president of his party and former Secretary of Energy in the cabinet of President Vicente Fox.
López Obrador is also running for the presidency of Mexico in the 2006 elections. He represents the Party of the Democratic Revolution (left). He was Mayor of Mexico City from 2000 to 2005.
