this Salon article on FL. (Need subscription, or watch lame ad.) Not particularly interesting or fresh, really. Main point is that W might be in trouble there. Lots of anecdotal evidence, but very little of the other kind.
It does make the (pretty evident) point, though, that it's almost impossible for The Man to lose FL and win the election. Kerry has slightly more flexibility, since it is technically possible for him to win without FL, though unlikely.
At any rate, the importance of winning FL can't be overemphasized. GOTV will be crucial there. I wonder if it's possible for the DNC, the kossers, DFA, or someone, to organize a well-planned letter-writing campaign. That's something I'd be willing to put quite a bit of effort on.
Also, given the tragic lessons of 2000, it would be a great idea for the DNC to push absentee ballots like crazy.
Ok, that's it. Just the embryo of an idea. Not sure it's worth much.
