As Commander in Chief
TM and the Leader of All Righteous Wars, Bush has claimed he has extensive extra-constitutional powers to eavesdrop, wiretap, etc.
So, does this apply to the "War on Drugs?" Can police now tap phones and search your house without a warrant? Seems logical to me...
What about the "War on Poverty?" Not high on their agenda to be sure, but might it not be a good idea to keep tabs on all those poor people? I hear lots of them are Democrats...
Oh, and the "War on Christmas." Don't forget that one. Search all the credit card accounts to find out who wasn't shopping enough to help boost the economy. They might be Muzlimz or something...
Can never be too safe or too secure. Just, perhaps, too free...
Remember: How can you have peace if you never have a war?
Oh. There's a poll, too.
