That's right, Pat Buchanan. Said that if all he knew about Kerry was the speech he heard tonight, he could vote for him. I can't remember the precise words he used, but essentially called it a home run.
The amazing thing about the speech is that to me it was clearly a hard-hitting, anti-Bush, left of center speech. I was fine with that, since he clearly established himself as a hell of a fighter and put the issue of "is he tough enough to protect us" issue to bed. That, combined with an energized base should get him to about 52% maybe 53%. But, like Obama's speech, it seems to be playing really well with people who lean to the right!
