I changed my tagline today

i was going to write a long detailed analysis of the war in Iraq compared to other wars, and how Iraq cannot  be compared to WW1, WW2, or Korea, and how none of those countries can act as a model for re building the war torn country.  This was all in response to a blog conversation I had with some one who thinks maybe the rebuilding of Japan can act as a model for rebuilding Iraq.

Then I heard about the commutation of scooter Libby, and George Bush's flipping off the law and the American people – again.  This is no disregard for the law, this is a flaunting in-your-face-bully-what-are-you-gonna do-about-it flipping off the people.

Now I'm Pissed.  I wrote an e-mail to my congressman.  I bet it won't be answered.  I bet he won't show up to the local Fourth of July parades.  He is a "democrat" at least in name.  DINO is more appropriate.

I want Bush out of office.  I want his puppet master out of office.  Any yes, I know this is about the brazillianth diary about impeachment.  There are far better writers and far better analysts then me.

But I gotta write something, and a diary about rebuilding Iraq just doesn't cut it on a day when we are preparing to celebrate the anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, and the president shows this kind of disregard for our fighting men and women.  They are not fighting to preserve the constitution, or even our freedom.  They are fighting to protect a really vicious man with no moral decency.

I changed my tagline today because of it.  Yes, I changed it to Impeach Now.  I used to have a nice platitude about looking for truth.  Truth now seems to have gone out the door.  Truth is a casualty of this administration.  I remember Oran Hatch saying Bill Clinton was incapable of telling the truth.  Bill lied about sex with a younger woman.  Bush and Cheney lied about everything they do.  I think they calculate their lies.  This is not about a capability, this is about a sociopathic need to not tell the truth, to lie.  

It is obvious to me, and always was that scooter was a patsy, and would get his reward eventually.  Now he got it.  Bush pat him on the back and said “well done faithful servant.  Now I will contact my base to help with your fines and legal funds.”  

Impeach Now.

I will be writing a snail mail to Speaker Pelosi, and my congress critter.  I don’t expect to hear back from them.
