The upshot is that Republicans weren't voting for Edwards in Wisconsin in order to screw the Democrats over. They really liked Edwards as a person. While the Republican Party claimed that those folks will still vote for Bush in November, I suspect they're a wee bit worried at the moment about just how solid their own support is in the state. Good! I want all Republican candidates to break out in a flop sweat every time someone says the word "jobs" to 'em.
