WA-08: Burnin' Bush all Weekend

On Monday, George W. Bush is coming to Bellevue, Washington, to raise some money for his good buddy, GOP Rep. Dave Reichert. The appearance is pay-back for Reichert's steadfast support for the Iraq debacle, and for generally being like this:

That's the kind of guy Reichert is, the kind who does whatever his leadership and Bush tells him--votes the way they let him to keep his seat. See, he'd really love to open up the Arctic Refuge for drilling, but those pesky constituents of his just wouldn't like it. And he's not afraid to stand up in front of a rabid Republican crowd and tell them so. That's courage, huh?

Here's real courage for you:

Reward that courage and send the message to Bush and Reichert and rest of Congress that we demand real change.

We had a phenomenal day yesterday, trouncing kos's goal of 1,250 contributions. As of 9:30 a.m. PT today, 1,551 contributions have come in. Let's make it an even 2,000 by the end of today.
