Rasmussen Reports. 9/6. Likely voters. MoE 4.5% (March 7 results)
Coleman (R) 46
Ciresi (D) 42
Coleman (R) 46 (46)
Franken (D) 41 (36)
Great trendlines for Franken, 14 months out from the election. Ciresi wasn't polled in March. One really encouraging data point:
Franken is now viewed favorably by 46% of Minnesota voters and unfavorably by 47%. That’s an improvement from March when just 39% offered a positive assessment of the new candidate.
Franken's unfavorables have been a worry, though it's clear that he's doing a good job bringing those down. Ciresi, incidentally, is 40/43, favorable/unfavorable. Coleman is at 54/46.
