OK. I have generally accepted that Bush is favored to win Arizona. I know that Janet Napolianto only won the governorship after a very hard-fought, razor-thin race over a wingnut. I know that Arizona isn't as demographically shifting as some have claimed. But honestly, after reading this:

and seeing some damn fool senator who claims that not banning same-sex marriage will force people to march in gay pride parades, I HAVE to ask this.
Is there any kind of a chance for Democrats to make gains in that state's legislature this year? What is the current political climate in Arizona? Are there enough people fed up to make a difference? Are people tiring of that state GOP's wingnut status or do they see them as being just right, or as being fairly moderate?
