This is my very first diary, so bear with me, please.
My mom's name is Cindy too.
She taught me so many things. About life, about honor, duty, and love. She's always been one of my greatest heroes. Without fail, given of herself, sacrificed anything, to make life better for her children. For anyone's children. We always had stray kids staying with us, down through the years. Friends of mine and my sisters, who's home lives were less than they deserved.
She's been burned by this habit, on many occasions. But no matter how many times I tell her not to, she keeps on doing it. I've since stopped trying.
Every time I read something you've written, heard or seen you speak, anything to do with you, I think of my mother. You and her are so very much alike. How she would be standing in your shoes, were that I was Casey.
If only I could take his place for you and your family. I would, without hesitation, and with a glad heart. Many of us here would. I am but one.
I'm sure you've heard as many expressions of sympathy, as there are words. There are kind, wondrous people EVERYWHERE! Which only goes to prove my following point.
Our world is on the threshold of a great awakening I believe. A revolution of profound significance. Your last diary has cemented that in my mind, heart, and soul.
I know you are busy, but I have something I'd like to share with you. A book, I've recently read. You may already know of it. But I think it could help you down the path you've begun, and the new insights you've expressed in your latest diary.

This book has changed my life, given me hope, and brought oh so many ideas and beliefs I've held for years into focus.
I will send you my copy if need be. I will send anyone out there a copy, on my tab, as long as my money holds out. It's beyond any price on it's cover.
War, and all the associated ills, dogmatic religious practice, and all our varied borders and divisions, are quite simply, soon to be obsolete. We as a species are evolving before our eyes. A mental, emotional, and spiritual evolution. We can afford no less if we are to survive at all.
You are one of many embodiments, one of the most visible at this point in history, along side the Dali Lama. We're all waking up, from the long, bloody nightmare of history. Growing up, as a species, from an all too tempestuous collective adolescence.
We go together, or we go not at all.
I give my love to you, to us all. Never doubt your path. We are with you, every second, of every day. We are one people, one soul. Here we make our stand, for our future is bright, and the veil has been parted. Why else would those that would perpetuate all this suffering be so panicked, so determined to keep it moving forward? They see their end, and they are terrified. THAT is the war on "terror" being fought. Their OWN fear. Either we will all drown in it, or we will all rise above.
The only thing stronger than fear, is the true, honest love, of one person for another. Without regard for the self.
Even George Bush will respond to it. The hardest of hearts cannot hold in the face of that love. His life has been so bereft of it, hasn't it? He has most likely never been sure of who was his true friend, who honestly offered him love, without thought of his family, their power and privilege. He's always had to have some doubt.
Some how, some way, we must get that love to him, and all those around him, without doubt.
Mind you, I am no pacifist, I will and have fought, when there was no other option. It's the nature of the beast after all. But...
We all go together, or we go not at all.
And I will love my enemies, as I love myself.
Call on me, and I will come. We all will. Open arms and open hearts will greet us at every turn. Can you imagine it? Can you see the world as it should be? What is the world we long for? We strive for? We dream about? We pray to see, every second of our lives? Can you forgive?
I can see it, I know you can too. It is inevitable now.
Because peace is on the march, and no sword, nor bullet, nor bomb can stop it. It has been growing like dandelions, across the fields of humanity for decades now. Strong as the wind and rain. Soft as a newborn's skin.
What we dream will be made real, one way or another. There is no stopping it, for there is no other choice. Through death, through change, most likely both, Peace will come. What a glorious day it will be. It burns brighter than the sun, in the hearts of all of us. It drives us to stand up and be heard. Makes us smile, when we are carried away , and hope returns.
Peace, at long last.
Because we all go together, or we go not at all.
THIS is what Jesus, Buddha, Mohammed, and countless prophets have been trying to tell us all down through history. All along!
WE ALL GO TOGETHER, OR WE GO NOT AT ALL!
