This is my very first Diary, so be kind...
I didn't see this mentioned in any other diary. Didn't want the Bay Area to get all the glory, we are concerned up here too.
Yesterday our esteemed Governor made a stop up here in the Wine Country. We got an urgent alert from our DFA group to come join the protest.
I was stuck at work but I am proud that my fellow citizens gave him the welcome he deserves:

According to the paper, 250 people showed up but since the Press Democrat notoriously underestimates us "liberals", it was probably more like 500. Anyone who may have been there, we would love to hear your stories.
Arnold says he doesn't pay attention to polls. I guess he is more used to box office stats. Well someone should tell Arnold that polls really do matter. This is not some movie where you can just replace the extras if you don't like them. We are the citizens of California. We are what made this state great. We come from pioneering stock. If we could make it through all the stuff we have endured throughout our history, we certainly can make it through your pitiful reign.
Not much talk about Arnold for President anymore, I've noticed. The Republicans hoped that he would be another Reagan. Reagan he's not. I didn't care much for Reagan either, but at least he knew something about government. Arnold never even played any kind of government official in the movies. He is just a puppet monkey for the haves and have mores.
