There are numerous news stories floating around that, after bottoming out in Iowa after a disappointing finish and the "primal yell," Dean is coming back. For example, Fournier's AP piece today:

BFA is full of stories about the "air clearing," etc.
Which got me to thinking -- maybe the Iowa blow is just what Dean needed to get some monkeys off his back. The familiar anti-Dean memes had been piling up for months -- his anger, his unelectability, etc. They all exploded in Iowa earlier this week.
But the explosion seems like it has cleared the air. Dean is calming down and focusing, the media are reporting that fact. Dean has the chance to begin anew. Which is exactly what he's needed ever since the anti-Dean messages began accumulating last year.
Plus, now he's the underdog (with a lot of money and endorsements), his most fitting roll.
The catch: this process may not happen quick enough for New Hampshire. And if he loses New Hampshire, there may not be enough time to come back.
