Senator Biden Mourns Loss of Mother-in-Law

Senator Biden will be stepping off the campaign trail for a few days to mourn the passing of his mother in law, Bonny Jean Jacobs:

ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- Democratic vice presidential candidate Sen. Joe Biden will spend Monday and Tuesday off the campaign trail following the death of his mother-in law, Bonny Jean Jacobs, 78.

Jacobs, the mother of Biden's wife, Jill, died Sunday after a long illness, Biden spokesman David Wade said. She will be buried Tuesday in Abington, Pa., near where she lived in Willow Grove, Pa.
