Obama is back to the 40-second wind-ups that hurt his performance in primary debates. Tighten it up, Barack.

Obama neatly ties together individual efforts on energy use with American energy sources and conservation technologies.

Obama repeats the earmarks message he used in the first debate: Though earmarks are approximately 80% of what McCain says about cutting spending, they are a minuscule part of the overall budget, and are dwarfed by the tax cuts for the wealthy McCain favors.

Is anyone keeping a "my friends" count? McCain's answer on taxes and the budget here is pure attack. "My friends" again. He's really simmering, and that's the tell.
