Apparently a group of people
plotting to blow up parts of the New York transportation network have been arrested. That's great, right?
Well, check out this nugget from the story...
FBI agents monitoring Internet chat rooms used by extremists learned in recent months of the plot to strike a blow at the city's economy by destroying vital transportation networks, an official said earlier.

Um, is it just me or is what we have here someone divulging how the US spies on would-be terrorists? If so will there be outrage from the neocons and wingnuts at how the FBI and the AP have weakened our national security by giving away surveillance techniques? Will there be protests at AP headquarters?
Ok, so I'm being mostly faceitious, it just struck me as a bit ironic given the consternation over the divulging of the phone-tapping, e-mail reading and bank record scans being used as investigative tools, tools that as Richard Clarke points out, the terrorists already know are being used.
