Midday Open Thread

• Attorney General Mukasey is hoping to check out of the hospital today after receiving a clean bill of health from doctors at George Washington University Hospital. A hospital spokesman said Mukasey fainted and they have ruled out a mini-stroke or cardiac incident as the cause.
• The NYT interviews graphic designer Sol Sender about his team's creation of the now famous and unmistakable "O" logo from Obama's campaign.
• The Governator is making it known that he would be happy to serve in an Obama administration.
• Obama FCC transition team co-chair Kevin Werbach is also a serious gamer.

  Okay, so we might know the guy as Kevin Werbach out here in meatspace, but to his Terror Nova Guild buddies, he's better known as Supernovan Jenkins (the first name presumably a reference to Werbach's Supernova tech conference series), and he's a Level 70 Tauren Shaman.

• The puppy cam continues to dominate online viewing, but the puppies will be leaving for their new homes soon. Anticipating world-wide heartbreak, each of the new families has agreed to install their own "puppy cams" so viewers can watch as they join their new families.
